CPRS Ottawa/Gatineau Season Opener

A welcome-back chapter social to start your semester off right! Join your colleagues who work in public relations, marketing and communications – as we network, mix and mingle at CPRS Ottawa-Gatineau’s kickoff event for the 2014-15 season. Meet local PR professionals from the public and private sectors. CPRS is the leading professional organization for communicators, as well as those studying to enter the field, with a national network of over 1,800 members.

PR Road trip to FleishmanHillard and High Road

The student program facilitates student visits to the workplaces of PR professionals. These road trips are designed to help students find out what it’s like to work in a specific area of public relations and get the information they need to pursue a career in that area. All visits generally last an hour and a half and include Q&A sessions. Once you’ve registered for the event, you’ll receive an email with information on where to meet your host.

Notre réseau de bénévoles a pour but d’aider les membres étudiants à établir des liens avec des organismes qui ont besoin de bénévoles en RP. Voici comment cela fonctionne. Nous fournissons un formulaire que les organismes qui demandent l’aide d’un bénévole étudiant doivent remplir. Une fois ce formulaire soumis, nous communiquons par courriel l’information aux membres étudiants.

Membres étudiants
Quand vous recevez un courriel avec des renseignements sur un poste qui correspond à vos besoins personnels et professionnels, communiquez avec la personne-ressource. Si vous n’êtes pas choisi(e) pour le poste de bénévole, vérifiez les autres courriels que nous vous enverrons à propos d’autres opportunités.

Professionnels et organismes
Si vous avez du travail pour un bénévole étudiant en RP, et du temps pour partager vos connaissances et votre expertise, remplissez et soumettez votre formulaire de demande ici. Nous enverrons par courriel ces renseignements à nos membres étudiants et ceux qui sont intéressés vous contacteront.
