Wanted: Student leaders!
Represent the students in your program on the CPRS Ottawa/Gatineau Student Communication Council (SCC) and develop and/or showcase your leadership skills. Student representatives work with the CPRS student membership chair to create opportunities to enhance the experiences of CPRS student members.

Student membership fee  

Annual fee
The fee for student members is $50.00. The fee covers membership from September to June annually. 

Graduated payment
First year post-graduate rate: $50. This represents a saving of $338.50 off full membership! But it’s only available to former CPRS student members. So in order to qualify for the post-graduate rate, you must be a CPRS student member the year before graduating.

Who can apply:
All full-time students enrolled in PR and communications programs at colleges and universities are invited to join. In addition, CPRS Ottawa/Gatineau welcomes all graduates from PR and communications programs who were CPRS student members the year prior to graduating. Interested? Agency info session – November 17, 2011   
A “meet and greet” for students at two of Ottawa’s top PR/communication agencies – Thornley Fallis and Hill and Knowlton.

PR in the Pub – December 2011 (Date TBD)
A speed-networking opportunity (modelled on the speed-dating format) where students get to meet and engage a wide cross-section of PR/communications professionals.   

Holiday social – December 2011 (Date TBD)  
The chapter’s festive gathering for the holiday season.
